Getting started

New here? Start with these.

  • Welcome to bemy.fans: What bemy.fans is, who it's for, what creators and fans can do today, and what's coming next.
  • Create your account: Sign up, confirm you're 18 or older, and choose whether you're a creator or a fan. During the beta, joining takes an invite.
  • Creator or fan?: The two kinds of account, what each can do today, and how to switch in Settings → Account type. Switching is free, and you can switch back.

For creators

Your page, posting, going live and growing your fans.

  • Start here as a creator: Set up your profile and links, verify your ID, make your first post, go live with your own scenes, plan an event, share to X and Bluesky, and post recordings of your lives.
  • Share to X and Bluesky: Connect your X or Bluesky account and share your posts there, to tease what's new on bemy.fans and bring people back.

Live and calls

Going live, the Creator Studio, watching, recordings and calls.

  • Go live: Start a live video for your fans, choose who hears about it, bring people on camera, and end it.
  • Creator Studio: Set up scenes for your lives, like your camera with your logo and a lower third, a guest side by side, chat on screen or a Starting soon card, and switch between them while you're live.
  • Watch a live: Find lives from creators, watch and chat, ask to join on camera, and leave or report a live.
  • Record your live: Record your own live while you're the only one on camera, then watch it, trim it, post it to the feed or download it.
  • Voice and video calls: Call the people you chat with: calls start as voice, video needs both IDs verified, and you can leave a message when nobody answers.
  • Public live links: Let people without a bemy.fans account watch and chat in your live, and close the link when you want.
  • Cameras: Use more than one device in your live, like a spare phone as your camera, your computer as a monitor, or your phone as a remote.
  • Stream from OBS or a camera: Send video into your live from streaming software like OBS, a streaming app or a camera, using a stream key.
  • Live safety: Stay safe in lives and calls: consent, adults only, protecting your privacy, removing, reporting and blocking people.

Community

The feed, profiles, followers, events and achievements.

  • The feed and your posts: How the Community feed works, how creators write posts with photos, a video, a poll, links and @mentions, who can see a post, and how fans join in.
  • Post a video: For creators: record a video in the app or choose one from your phone or computer, up to 6 hours and 20 GB, trim it if you like, and post it to the feed. Big uploads carry on where they stopped.
  • Activity in the feed: For creators: the short posts bemy.fans adds when you earn an achievement, go live or host an event, and how to choose who sees them or turn them off.
  • Comments, likes and reactions: React to posts, comment and reply, like comments, mention people, delete comments, and what notifications you get.
  • Your profile: Set your profile photo, display name, bio and links, add a photo gallery if you're a creator, and see what other members see on a creator's or a fan's profile.
  • Following and followers: Follow and unfollow creators, see who follows you, remove a follower, who can see follower lists, and what following a creator changes.
  • Find creators and members: Search for creators by name or username (creators can find fans too), browse the newest creators, use suggestions, and hide suggestions you're not interested in.
  • Events: Find lives at a set time and in-person meetups, say you're going or interested, get reminders, and see where and when.
  • Host an event: For creators: plan a live at a set time or an in-person meetup, keep the exact place for the people going, approve who comes, change or cancel it, and go live.
  • Achievements: What achievements you can earn, how bemy.fans awards them, and who can see them on your profile.

Messages

Private messages, group chats, photos and snaps.

  • Private messages: Who can message whom (fans message creators, creators message anyone), start a chat, choose who can message you, handle message requests, and mute, delete, block or report a chat.
  • Group chats: Creators start groups of up to 20 people and run them, and fans chat in them. Accept or decline an invite, add, remove or make admins, mute, leave or report.
  • Photos, snaps and video messages: Send photos, view-once snaps and video messages in a chat, how long they're kept on each plan, and how disappearing messages work.

Account, privacy and safety

Settings, ID, email, plans, blocking and reporting.

  • Contact bemy.fans Support: Ask the bemy.fans team a question, report a bug or share an idea, and follow the answer in the app.
  • Account settings: Change your photo, display name, account type and password, sign out, or delete your account.
  • Email preferences: Choose which emails bemy.fans sends you, make them discreet, and unsubscribe from one kind of email.
  • Privacy and safety: Control who sees what, keep bemy.fans discreet on your device, protect what you share, and know the safety tools that are always there.
  • Terms and policies: The documents every member agrees to, what they ask of creators, where to read them, and what happens when they change.
  • Block and report: Block someone, report a member, post, comment, photo, chat, event or live, and find out what moderators do next.
  • Verify your ID: What ID verification unlocks, how to verify right where you need it (even during a call), IDCheck (Beta) and the check by a person, age checks in some US states, what happens if bemy.fans asks you to verify again, and what bemy.fans keeps.
  • Plans and badges: What the Free, Plus and Pro plans include, and what the badges on profiles mean.
  • Invite friends: Share your personal invite link, or send email invitations to people you'd like on bemy.fans. Creators can bring their fans.

What’s new
